Kami Krista

Kami Krista has a diverse and impactful work experience. They co-founded and served as the CEO of Elio starting in September 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Climate Fellow at the 776 Foundation from June 2022. In 2021, Kami was a Fellow at Sigma Squared Society, a non-profit organization focused on impactful initiatives by young founders. They have also worked as a speaker on climate change and Elio, participating in various international events and conferences. Kami served as a scout at Aera VC from June 2022. They were a Slavin Fellow at Slavin Family Foundation starting in October 2019. Kami contributed to the UNDP as a member of the UN Youth4Climate Advisory Committee, representing Europe and providing guidance on Youth4Climate programming. They held a role as Vice President of the StGIS Alumni Association, where they built up the young Alumni Association, organized events, and initiated mentorship programs. Kami was part of the Techstars Sustainability Accelerator's Class of 2021, and they worked at ClimateScience in multiple roles, including Senior Facilitator, Head of Translation, and German Translator.

Kami Krista completed their International Baccalaureate at St. Gilgen International School from 2009 to 2017, with a focus on HL subjects in Math, Chemistry, and Biology, and SL subjects in German A, English A, and Geography. In 2017, they obtained their IB Diploma from the International Baccalaureate institution.

From 2017 to 2020, Kami attended Harvard University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Engineering Sciences with a concentration in Chemicals & Materials. Additionally, they pursued a secondary interest in Theater, Dance, and Media (TDM).

In 2020, Kami enrolled in Harvard Business School Online to obtain a CORe Credential of Readiness, although the specific field of study and degree name are undisclosed.

In terms of certifications, Kami obtained an Advanced Open Water Diver certification from PADI in August 2015, as well as an Open Water Diver certification. Kami also received training in Primary & Secondary Care CPR/First Aid - Adult from Emergency First Response in August 2015.
