Joy Douma

Joy Douma currently serves as a Business Innovation Officer at ELIS, focusing on leading projects that transform and enhance business processes to align with strategic objectives through innovative initiatives. Prior experience includes multiple roles at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, where Joy managed various projects including the Saxion Student Garden and Well-being week, and served as a Corporate Management Trainee. Joy's background also features a role as a Learning and Development Specialist at Teijin Aramid, as well as junior project management during the completion of a thesis at Saxion. Additionally, Joy gained early professional experience in hospitality and customer service across various internships and positions, strengthening skills in operations and guest relations. Joy holds a Bachelor's degree in International Hospitality Management from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
