Eric Bach

Eric Bach is a Senior Data Scientist at Elisa since November 2022, following a role as a Data Scientist at Aalto University School of Science and Technology from September 2016 to January 2023, where Eric developed innovative kernel machine learning methods for small molecule annotation in untargeted metabolomics. Prior experience includes working as a cheminformatics intern at Harmonic Discovery, focusing on data processing pipelines for systems pharmacology, and implementing object detection algorithms as a research assistant in the Computer Vision Group in Jena. Eric holds a Doctor's Degree in Machine Learning and Bioinformatics from Aalto University, complemented by multiple Master of Science degrees in Computer Science from various universities, including Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the University of Eastern Finland.
