Saku Setälä

Saku Setälä has extensive experience in the technology sector, beginning as a Freelance Programmer from 1984 to 1986, followed by a role as a Network Engineer/Programmer at Union Bank of Finland in 1987. Saku transitioned to Microdata Oy from 1987 to 1993, serving as System Manager and Programmer, and later co-founded Megabaud Oy, managing systems from 1994 to 1996. Since March 1996, Saku has been a Technology Specialist in Mobile Network Services/Data Core Networks at Elisa Oyj, evolving from the original Helsingin Puhelin Oy. Additionally, from 2006 to 2014, Saku served as a Board Member for Finnish Communication and Internet Exchange ry. Saku’s education is self-directed, focusing on computers from 1980 to 2023.
