Elite Diamond Performance is a baseball training facility located in East Hanover New Jersey.  We focus on individual and small group instruction to educate players on the best way for them to achieve success.  Owner Jimmy Sheppard brings professional playing and scouting experience along with years of research and instruction to help players get the most out of their ability.  Whether it be hitting, pitching or catching, Elite Diamond Performance is the place to learn the right way to improve on the diamond.

Elite Diamond Performance is built on 3 key principles

1. Individualized Instruction

Every Player has different strengths and weaknesses and this requires a unique approach to improving.  To start, every player is assessed to determine the best course of action to reach their potential.  From there, players are constantly monitored via a variety of techniques to ensure they are moving in the right direction. Each player is trained according to their unique needs, whether it be a private session or small group setting.

2. Proper Training Techniques

Owner Jimmy Sheppard has spent years researching and learning about proper mechanics and how to improve them.  Even with the technology and knowledge we have today, many myth about mechanics are still prevalent at all levels o the game.  Elite Diamond Performance's motto is "Train Smarter" because every drill and technique is backed by both research and proven results.

3. Education

Elite Diamond Performance is centered around teaching players the right way to improve their skills.  The goal is for every player to fully understand the what and why of what is being taught so that practice can be successful outside of the facility.  From proper mechanics, to learning how to attract attention from scouts and coaches, Elite Diamond Performance is the place to go.
