Vinayak Bhat

Vinayak Bhat has extensive work experience in the medical field. Vinayak began their career at Guidant Corporation in 1998, where they served as an R&D Program Manager until 2001. From 2001 to 2005, they worked at Avantec Vascular Corp as the Vice President & General Manager of the Combination Product Division. In 2005, Vinayak joined Elixir Medical Corporation as the Vice President & General Manager, a role they held until 2011. From 2011 to 2016, they served as the Chief Development Officer and President, Ophthalmology at Elixir Medical Corporation. In 2016, Vinayak was promoted to President & Chief Operating Officer at the same company.

Vinayak Bhat holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from UDCT (ICT), University of Bombay. Vinayak later pursued their Master's degree in Biochemical Engineering from Duke University. Vinayak further expanded their educational background by completing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, also from Duke University.
