Elaine Harrison

Elaine Harrison is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Communications Manager at ELIXIR since January 2022, after holding the position of Communications Officer. Previously, Elaine worked at the University of Cambridge as Communications Coordinator for the COVID-19 Genomics UK Consortium, where responsibilities included event management and report writing. In addition, Elaine acted as Programme Manager for the COG-Train project, overseeing its initiation phase, project kick-off, and communication management. Elaine is also the founder of Embodied Science, an outreach organization, and has over a decade of project management experience at Astex Pharmaceuticals. Elaine's educational background includes an MBiochem from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Protein Crystallography from the University of St Andrews.
