Fabio Liberante

Fabio Liberante is an experienced professional in the field of data management and research, currently serving as the Programme Manager for Data & Interoperability at ELIXIR since February 2023. Prior to this role, Fabio worked as a Work Stream Manager at the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health and held similar managerial positions at the Wellcome Sanger Institute, focusing on areas such as data security and researcher identities. Fabio's postdoctoral experience spans several institutions, including the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna and the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Cancer Research, as well as a significant tenure at Queen's University Belfast. Fabio co-founded Analyse Genomics Ltd. as a Bioinformatics Analyst and has a background in marketing design and research at BIOCOLOR LIMITED. Fabio holds a PhD and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from Queen's University Belfast.
