Robert Andrews

Robert Andrews is a Senior Lecturer at Cardiff University and Codirector of the Systems Immunity Research Institute, where they focus on data-driven research. Previously, they held various senior scientific management roles at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and Wellcome Trust, managing teams in genotyping, microarray studies, and bioinformatics. Robert also served as a Lead Informatician and Senior Informatics Manager at Cardiff University, providing strategic support for big data research. They earned a Ph.D. in Systems Biology from The University of Edinburgh and hold an M.Sc. in Bioinformatics from The University of Manchester. Currently, Robert is a BioFAIR Fellow and leads the Data Management Working Group for ELIXIR-UK.
