Ruben Kok is a board member and Chief Strategic Alliances at Health-RI, where they co-founded the Dutch national data infrastructure for health research and policy. Currently, Ruben serves as a member of the Open Science executive committee and chairs the Programme Board for TDCC-LSH. Previously, they held leadership roles at DTL, NBIC, and played a pivotal role in the European 1+ Million Genomes Initiative. Ruben's academic background includes a PhD in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Amsterdam.
