Keith Bear

Keith Bear is a Fellow at the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance and an Advisory Board Member at Global Digital Finance, with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Current roles include being a Member of the Board Risk Committee at the London Metal Exchange, an Independent Board Director at Dfns, and an Associate Partner at Elixirr, where thematic investments are made in high-growth B2B companies. Additionally, Keith Bear serves on the Investor Trends and Research Working Group for the European Securities and Markets Authority's Risk Standing Committee and is a member of the CBDC Technology Forum at the Bank of England. Previous positions include a long tenure at IBM as VP of Financial Markets. Keith Bear holds an MA in Theoretical Physics from the University of Oxford, an MSc in Nuclear and Particle Physics from the University of London, and a Master's in Business Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
