Daniel Scherman has extensive work experience in various roles within the utility industry. Daniel started their career at Accenture, where they worked as a Manager in the Information Management Services division. Daniel'sresponsibilities included business process transformation, project management, enterprise architecture, and data management. Daniel then joined Sustento Consulting as a Management Consultant and Partner, where they primarily focused on utility industry projects, including service management, outsourcing, and business transformation.

After that, Daniel moved to Fortum, where they held two roles: Head of Meter & Settlement and Head of Contract & Meter Value Management. In these positions, they oversaw the collection of meter readings, customer move-in/out processes, and outsourcing contracts for AMR collection and field service of all Fortum Distribution electricity meters.

Currently, Daniel is working at Ellevio AB, where they have held multiple roles, including Business Development Manager, Head of Digital Development, and Director of Digital Product and Services. In these positions, they have been responsible for the digitalization agenda, strategy and development of digital products and services, and process automation using RPA. Daniel has also managed IT development budgets and served on management teams and change control boards.

Daniel Scherman received a BSc in Civil Engineering from Mälardalen University, where they studied from 1992 to 1994. Daniel then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Economics & Management at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 1995 to 2000. In 1999, they briefly studied Small Business Management at Hawaii Pacific University.
