John Simone currently serves as Managing Director and Head of Insurance Solutions at Ellington Management Group since December 2021. Prior to this role, John held positions at Voya Investment Management from September 2014 to December 2021, where responsibilities included managing insurance solutions and marketing various investment products to insurance companies. John's previous experience includes roles at J.P. Morgan, where John served as Executive Director and Senior Client Advisor for Global Insurance Solutions, and at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as Vice President and National Sales Manager. Additionally, John has held marketing and sales positions at Lyra Capital LLC, Wachovia, and First Union Securities, focusing on business-owned life insurance programs and hedge fund solutions. John earned an MBA in Marketing from Fordham Gabelli School of Business and a BA in Economics from Rutgers University-New Brunswick.
