Patrick Maloney

Patrick Maloney has a diverse work experience in the legal and compliance field. Patrick is currently the Chief Compliance Officer & Associate General Counsel at Ellington Management Group since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Investcorp Credit Management as the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer from 2011 to 2023. From 2008 to 2011, they served as the Chief Compliance Officer at Aladdin Capital Management. Before that, they were a Member at Kinetic Partners in 2007-2008 and worked in compliance at JWM Partners in 2006-2007. Patrick also has experience as the Managing Director in the General Counsel's Office at Bear Stearns from 1999 to 2006. Patrick started their career as an Assistant District Attorney at New York County District Attorney's office in 1992 and worked there until 1999.

Patrick Maloney received their Juris Doctorate degree in Law from St. John's University School of Law in the years 1989 to 1992. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/Economics from Fairfield University between 1985 and 1989. Patrick Maloney completed their secondary education at Fordham Prep from 1981 to 1985.
