Sofia Kotea

Sofia Kotea has been working as a Digital Designer at Ellipsis Drive since 2021. Prior to this, they were a Teaching Assistant at Eindhoven University of Technology from 2018 to 2021, where they assisted professors during lectures and tutored students in their weekly assignments for the course 'User-Centered Design'. Sofia provided constructive feedback to help students understand the significance of the User-Centered Approach in Design. Sofia also held the role of Design Intern at Ellipsis Drive.

Sofia Kotea has a diverse educational background. Sofia obtained a BEng and MEng in Production Engineering and Management from Technical University of Crete / Πολυτεχνεία Κρήτης from 2007 to 2015. Sofia then went on to pursue a Pre-Master in Industrial Design at Eindhoven University of Technology from 2017 to 2018, followed by a Master's degree in Industrial Design from the same institution from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, Sofia has obtained certifications in PRODUCT DESIGN SUMMER CAMP from International Hellenic University in 2016, AutoCad 2016 3D Modeling (Intermediate) from Autodesk in 2016, Rhino3D 5.0 Fast learning skills from Mcneel in 2016, and a verified certificate for Product Design: The Delft Design Approach from edX.
