Abílio Pinto

Abílio Pinto is a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Data Platforms at Elliptic, where the role began in June 2022. Previously, Abílio served as Platform Data Science Manager at Intenda, contributing significantly to the deployment of data science models and developing infrastructure on Kubernetes with Kafka for communication. Earlier experience includes a position as Principal Consultant and Big Data Engineer at Fraxses Limited, focused on building a data federation platform using Apache Spark. Abílio has also held roles as a Data Engineer and Cloud Administrator at Digital Gaming Corporation, and as a Data Science Engineer at SessionCam Ltd, where real-time streaming ETL processes were developed. With over a decade at i2S - Insurance Software Solutions, Abílio progressed from Researcher to Senior Software Engineer and Coordinator of the Analytics team. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree and Licentiate degree in Computer Science from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto.
