Mark Aruliah

Mark Aruliah is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy advisory and technical specialist roles within the financial sector. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Adviser for EMEA at Elliptic since January 2022, Mark has previously held positions at the Financial Conduct Authority, including Technical Specialist for both general policy and financial crime advisory. Mark’s background includes a secondment to HM Treasury focused on Brexit negotiations and developing a regulatory framework for the financial markets. Additionally, Mark has contributed to international strategy at the Financial Services Authority and engaged in policy development related to investment funds and EU regulations while serving as a Financial Attaché at the UK Representation to Brussels. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Surrey.
