Elliptipar
elliptipar produces a wide range of distinctively styled luminaires for halogen, fluorescent and metal halide sources in styles for surface, semi-recessed, concealed, cantilever and pendant mounting. elliptipar was founded by Sylvan R. Shemitz in 1977 and maintains corporate offices and manufacturing facilities in a restored textile mill in West Haven, Connecticut. Built in 1903 to produce webbing, the complex was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Today, elliptipar's historic location is home to some of the most up-to-date principles in modern manufacturing. The company uses M.R.P. and J.I.T. manufacturing systems to control stock levels and paperless planning to manage your order from entry to shipping. An individual team builds all like luminaires in each order. Team members test and clean each assembly and put the units through quality control checks. This total team involvement and accountability promotes pride of workmanship and the highest quality standards.
