John C. Wray is the current County Judge of Ellis County, Texas, since 2025. Previously, John served as a State Representative from 2015 to 2021 and as a City Council Member and Mayor for the City of Waxahachie. John founded and manages Wray Willett Stoffer Kosoris PLLC and co-owns Town Square Title. An accomplished attorney, John has held positions at several law firms and has been recognized as the BEST ELECTED OFFICIAL in 2009 and the MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSON in 2011 by WNI Newspapers. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas A&M University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Texas School of Law.
