Les Smith

Les Smith, CSM, has extensive experience in administrative systems and IT management within higher education, currently serving as the Director of Administrative Systems at Ellucian since 2013. Prior roles include Relationship Manager for Student Operations at Laureate Education, Director of Enterprise Computing at Delaware State University, and Executive Director at Rider University, where Les led large IT teams and managed the implementation of ERP systems. Past experience includes positions at SunGard Higher Education, where Les held various roles, such as GM for multiple divisions, driving innovations in software development and emerging technologies. Les's career began in the UK with SCT International, contributing to the development of the widely used SCT Banner suite. Les holds a B.S. in Business Administration-Information Technology from Western Governors University. Currently retired since January 2019, Les continues to contribute expertise to the field.
