Javier Martinez

Javier Martinez has a diverse and extensive work experience in the energy industry. Javier is currently the Head of O&M at ELMYA, where they are responsible for managing the income statement and implementing improvements in the O&M division. Javier also plays a key role in the growth strategy of the O&M business area.

Prior to their current role, Martinez worked as the Director of International Operations at Revergy from April 2022 to January 2023.

From 2011 to 2021, Martinez held various positions at Mitsui & Co. Power Americas, including O&M Supervision Director, O&M Supervision Subdirector, and Operation and Maintenance Supervision Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for monitoring the condition and efficiency of multiple power plants, implementing digital services and software, and leading maintenance and operation improvement projects.

Before joining Mitsui & Co. Power Americas, Martinez worked at Gas Natural Fenosa as an Operation Submanager and at Unión Fenosa as a Maintenance Submanager. In these roles, they focused on ensuring the availability of power plants, managing work schedules, and coordinating maintenance tasks.

Javier Martinez has a diverse education history with a focus on energy engineering and business. Javier obtained a Diploma de Estudios Avanzados en Ingenería Energética (Master in Energy Engineering) from Universidad de Sevilla, from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate degree in Ingeniero Industrial with a specialization in Energética from the same university, spanning from 1999 to 2005.
