Brian Perry

Brian Perry has extensive experience as an industrial designer and mechanical engineer. Brian began their career at Tandem Computers as an Industrial Designer, where they designed servers and rack mounted networking components. Brian also built models and mockups for thermal airflow studies. After the merger with Compaq Computers, Brian continued their design work for the Tandem Computer Division. Brian designed computer server bezels, cabinets, and cable routing methods.

Brian then joined HP as an Industrial Design Engineer IV, where they designed plastic bezels, cabinet doors, and components for the Compaq Computer / Tandem division. Brian also created 3D CAD drawings for these designs. Later, they worked at Sun Microsystems as an Industrial Design Engineer, managing the industrial design development of a new line of computer servers. Brian coordinated the efforts of other design engineers and created CAD files.

At HP, Brian served as a Senior Industrial Design Engineer and Mechanical Engineer. Brian successfully managed the industrial design development of HP HDTVs and solved injection molding problems associated with small and large plastic parts. Brian also worked on reducing sink marks, knit lines, and cosmetic defects.

Brian then became the owner of Perizign, a company where they worked until 2010. During this time, they led the design efforts for Elo Touch Solutions as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Brian was the lead designer for Elo's Interactive Digital Signage product line and achieved record sales and revenue growth. This involved creating industrial design concepts, detailed mechanical design, and managing the design transfer to contract manufacturers.

Brian Perry attended San Jose State University from 1990 to 1996. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design.
