Erik Mathues

Erik Mathues has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Erik began their career as a System Engineer at Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions in 1999. Erik then moved on to work as an Account Manager at M-TEC from 2001 to 2003. Following this, they worked as an Account Manager at Phoenix Contact from 2004 to 2005. Erik then joined Telenet as an Ingenieur HFC Access from 2005 to 2007. Erik then transitioned to TE Connectivity where they served as a Project Manager Operations EMEA from 2007 to 2010. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Application Engineering Manager EMEA at Elo Touch Solutions, where they have been working since 2010.

Erik Mathues obtained their Master's degree in Industrial Sciences with a specialization in Electronics from UHasselt & KUL Campus Groep T, completing their education in 1988. Prior to that, they completed their Higher Secondary degree in Latin Mathematics from Koninklijk Atheneum Tienen in 1983.

In terms of additional certifications, Erik Mathues earned the Android Enterprise Associate and Android Enterprise Professional certifications from Google in January 2023. In 2016, they obtained a certification in Leadership and Communication from Syntra Antwerpen en Vlaams Brabant (Syntra AB). In 2015, they acquired a certification in Project Management from the same institution. Furthermore, Erik Mathues obtained the Cisco CCNA certification for working at a small-to-medium business or ISP from VDAB Competentie Center Heverlee in 2010, and the Cisco CCNA certification for networking for home and small businesses in 2009 from the same institution. Additionally, they earned a certification in Project Management and Soft Skills from the International Institute for Learning in 2007. Lastly, Erik Mathues obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Telenet in 2005.
