Jay Boyd

Jay Boyd has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Jay started their career as a Computer Technician at Smart Tech, Inc DBA Computerworks in 2012, where they diagnosed and resolved issues with customer's machines while also selling computers.

In 2013, Jay transitioned to NSA (Field Service) as a Project Coordinator, where they coordinated and oversaw projects for various companies across the United States. Jay'sresponsibilities included quality control, setting up special visits, and recruiting/training field service representatives.

In 2015, Jay joined Apple as a Technical Specialist, troubleshooting iOS devices for the general public and business sector, and building relationships with Apple customers. Jay later took on the role of Technical Expert, which involved troubleshooting MacOS hardware and software, as well as hardware repairs of iOS devices. From 2019 to 2022, Jay served as a Genius at Apple, supporting the team's growth and development, and facilitating Mac hardware repairs.

Most recently, in 2022, Jay joined Elo Touch Solutions as an Application Engineer.

Jay Boyd has a diverse education history. Jay started their academic journey in 2004 at McMinn High School, where they completed their high school education. After graduating from high school in 2007, they enrolled at Pellissippi State Community College and pursued an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Science/Business. Jay attended Pellissippi State Community College for four years, from 2007 to 2011.

Jay then decided to further specialize their skills and interests by obtaining a Sound Production Certificate in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from Pellissippi State Community College. Jay completed the certificate program in 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Jay also obtained several certifications to enhance their technical skills. In 2017, they became an Apple Certified iOS Technician, and in 2019, they achieved the Apple Certified Mac Technician designation. Recently, in 2023, they obtained certifications in The Bits and Bytes of Computer Networking and Technical Support Fundamentals from Coursera.

Overall, Jay Boyd has a strong educational background, with a focus on computer science, business, sound production, and technical support.
