Roope Noronen

Roope Noronen currently serves as the Director of Competitions at the International Federation of American Football (IFAF) since December 2021, while also holding the position of President at the Association of Finnish American Football (SAJL) since 2001. With a diverse professional background, Roope has previously held leadership roles at IFAF from 2008 to 2016, including President and Vice President. Additionally, Roope worked as the Head of Legal at LähiTapiola Mutual Pension Insurance Company from 2011 to 2013 and served as Head of Department at Eläke-Tapiola from 2007 to 2010. Roope’s academic qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) obtained from the University of Helsinki between 1995 and 2005, following a matriculation exam from Töölön Yhteiskoulu completed in 1993.
