Ígor Bonadio has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and engineering. Ígor currently holds the position of Tech Lead (Machine Learning Engineering & Information Retrieval) at Elo7 since January 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Lead Data Scientist at Elo7 from May 2019 to January 2020. Ígor also worked as a Principal Data Scientist at Elo7 from March 2019 to May 2019.
Before joining Elo7, Ígor worked as a Data Science Coordinator at Itaú Unibanco from November 2018 to March 2019.
From October 2017 to October 2018, Ígor worked as a Principal Data Scientist at Elo7. During this time, they designed and implemented a generic machine learning platform to assist Elo7's data scientists in deploying their models. Ígor also developed recommender systems based on user-product relationships, created a model to predict product weight using descriptions, and built a model to predict shipping prices and delivery times.
Prior to their role at Elo7, Ígor worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Universidade de São Paulo from April 2013 to August 2018.
Ígor's career began at MStech, where they served as a Software Development Engineer from December 2010 to December 2012. Prior to this, they worked as a Developer at MStech from January 2009 to November 2010.
Ígor Bonadio attended the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho from 2005 to 2009, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Following that, from 2010 to 2013, they pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science at USP - Universidade de São Paulo. Ígor continued their education at USP, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from 2013 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including "Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark," "Parallel programming," "Functional Program Design in Scala," "Functional Programming Principles in Scala," "Probabilistic Graphical Models 1: Representation," and "Deep Learning Nanodegree Foundation." These certifications were obtained from institutions such as Coursera and Udacity between 2017 and 2018.
