Tom McKee

As Industry Principal for eLogic, Tom brings decades of experience as an influential, collaborative, and innovative C-Suite Leader driving business transformation, change management and organization optimization within a large multi-billion-dollar global manufacturer.

Tom will lead the development and execution of key consulting services and products for modernization and digital transformation of eLogic’s manufacturing customers. In this role, Tom will realize his passion to drive the future of manufacturing through digital transformation, data-first culture, and cloud-based technology.

Prior to joining eLogic, Tom held Executive Leadership roles in IT, Operations, and Supply Chain Management, supporting annual revenues more than $2 billion, inventories of $500MM+ and over 100 sites globally for Kennametal, a publicly traded global manufacturer. The first twenty years of his career were spent in progressive leadership in manufacturing operations where he advanced to plant management and supply chain optimization before shifting to technology-enabled business process improvement and modernization. Most recently, as Corporate Vice President and CIO, Tom was the key executive sponsor of the company’s successful Intelligent Enterprise digital transformation initiatives that included, Smart Factory framework and methodology designed to achieve return on a $300M manufacturing modernization investment, Migration of SAP and non-SAP business systems to the Microsoft Azure Cloud to optimize IT operations, leverage cloud scalability and security, and improve business continuity, Big Data and Advanced Analytics capability leveraging Azure IoT Hub and newly accessible SAP core data to increase business intelligence and improve overall company performance, Digital Customer Experience program to enhance and optimize the entire end to end value chain across all channels, Microsoft Dynamics 365 process-to-system integration geared to enable commercial success and deliver greater results through predictive AI-driven insights, Strategic SAP Ariba, Concur, and SuccessFactors implementations that delivered over $20M of incremental savings while decreasing functional overhead costs by 32%.

In addition, Tom is an established thought leader and industry advisor. Since leaving Kennametal and prior to joining eLogic, Tom served as an Executive Advisor for SAP and as a reference for Microsoft advising enterprises on how to bridge industry, business, and technology to deliver transformative outcomes.

Tom is Lean Green Belt certified in Value Stream Mapping and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master’s in Management for Operational Excellence from Saint Vincent College. He shares his enthusiasm for Operational Excellence as an adjunct professor in the McKenna School of Business, Economics and Government at his alma mater. Personally, Tom enjoys time with his family and friends, spending winters in Pompano Beach, Florida and summers in Latrobe, Pennsylvania where he remains active in fast-pitch baseball leagues.
