Simon Pickard

Simon Pickard has nearly 20 years of experience in grant making within humanitarian and international development. They have served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Elrha since 2016, where they support grants management for public health research in humanitarian situations. Previously, they founded and managed the international development grant strategy at The Waterloo Foundation and participated as a member of the BBC Wales Charities Advisory Forum. Simon was also a trustee at the Welsh Centre for International Affairs and an elected councillor for the City of Cardiff Council. They completed a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Philosophy at The University of Sheffield.
