Robert Sasu is a core developer at elrond. Robert has previously worked as a software engineer for an air traffic control simulator solution, where they were responsible for 3D graphics, mathematics, physics, rendering, traffic control algorithm, user interface, parallel programming, and threading. Robert also contributed to the 3D aspects and effects of the simulator.

Sasu has also worked on porting the simulator to Windows 10 and Visual Studio 2015, and is currently working on changing the current render system (Ogre 3D) to Unity 5 and creating a real-time scene editor for the simulator. The next project will be the implementation of a real-time Voice Recognition system for all of the controls.

Robert Sasu has a Master's degree in Software Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. Robert also has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same school. Robert started their educational career with a Bacalaureat in Mathematics - Informatics from Székely Mikó Kollégium.

They are on a team with Dana Ilie - Software Engineer, Sebastian Marian - Core Developer, and Patricia Merkle - Software Engineer. Robert Sasu reports to Adrian Dobrita, Head of Engineering.
