Maher Hakim

Maher Hakim is an accomplished ecosystem builder, educator, investor, and tech entrepreneur, currently serving as Chief Advisor for the Qatar Research, Development and Innovation Council. They have held significant roles including Executive Director of the CITRIS Foundry at the University of California, Berkeley, and Head of the Innovation Entrepreneurship Center at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar. Maher has founded multiple companies, notably Pharos Technologies and Apexion Technologies, and has served on the boards of various organizations including Stellic and Wellbees. They possess advanced degrees from prestigious institutions including Carnegie Mellon University, where they earned a Ph.D. in Computer-Aided Engineering and Management.
