Wayne Acquah

Wayne has responsibility for all HR and people-related activities across Elsevier globally and is a member of the RELX Global HR Leadership Team. He leads a highly professional team of HR Business Partners who support the global segments and functions, as well as provide in-country expertise for the people managers.

As EVP, Wayne is driving the strategic agenda to help accelerate the delivery of the business ambition from the inside, out. His work is focused on ensuring they have the right talent and culture for the future. This is while continually developing the HR model to deliver the right business outcomes and create competitive advantage through the people.

Wayne brings a wealth of global HR experience with him. His most recent role with PayPal was supporting Global Sales, having previously been based in Singapore leading HR for Asia Pacific and before that in Luxembourg leading HR for EMEA. Prior to PayPal, Wayne worked for The Coca-Cola Company, working across Europe, North America and Africa, and Rolls-Royce and AT&T.
