Mark McClain

Mark McClain is the CEO and Founder of SailPoint Technologies, leading the company in identity governance since December 2005. McClain also serves as an Operating Advisor at Elsewhere Partners, supporting growth-stage software companies, and has held director positions at Vyopta Incorporated and Wisegate. Previous professional experience includes serving as SVP of Software Marketing at Sun Microsystems and founding Waveset Technologies, an identity management company acquired by Sun Microsystems. Mark's career began with sales and marketing roles at IBM and Hewlett-Packard. McClain holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA in Economics from Point Loma Nazarene University.
