Gary Merkel, CFA, is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in portfolio management and investment analysis. Currently serving as Portfolio Manager for the Elston Australian Emerging Leaders Fund since May 2015, Gary has also held the position of Associate Portfolio Manager and executed Australian equities research and strategy development. Previously, Gary worked as an Analyst at JBWere from August 2013 to May 2015 and had a brief stint as a Work Experience participant at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in early 2013. Gary holds a Master of Finance from Bond University and a Bachelor of Business in Finance from Queensland University of Technology.
