Sotiris Xythalis is a Dipl. Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineer with extensive experience in maintenance and project management. They served as an Aircraft & Helicopter Maintenance Engineer in the Greek Military from 2015 to 2016 and worked as an Assistant Research Engineer at the Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems and Automation from 2016 to 2017. From 2019 to 2023, they held roles at ELVAL SA as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in the Hot Rolling Department and as a Project Engineer. Currently, Sotiris is the Mechanical Maintenance Manager in the Hot Rolling Department at ELVAL, having transitioned into this role in 2023. They earned a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics and a Master’s degree in Advanced Technologies in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Patras.
