Daniel Springmann has extensive experience in power electronics engineering. Daniel is currently employed as the Lead Power Electronics Engineer at Elve, Inc. Prior to this, they worked as a Power Electronics Design Engineering Consultant at Prodeo Technical Solutions, LLC, where they led power electronics design efforts for various projects. Daniel also served as a Senior Design Engineer at L3 Technologies Electron Devices, where they led the development and qualification of power supplies for airborne microwave power modules. Daniel began their career as an Engineering Intern at L-3 Communications Electron Devices, where they created and tested lab prototypes of power supplies. Daniel also worked as an Engineering Lab Intern at Ruud Lighting, Inc. (now a subsidiary of Cree, Inc). Throughout their career, Daniel has demonstrated expertise in power supply design, reducing converter losses, and mentoring interns and new engineers in the field of high voltage power electronics.
Daniel Springmann earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Electronics and Electric Machines at the same university, completing their studies in 2007.
