Jason Ragland

Jason Ragland is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Principal Application Engineer at Elve, Inc. since November 2025. Prior to this role, Jason worked as Payload Manager for Lanteris Space Systems and Maxar Technologies, focusing on satellite programs for Dish Network and leading teams of communications systems engineers from contract signing to launch. Jason has also held positions such as Section Manager of Communications Systems Engineering at Maxar Technologies, where resource planning and performance measurement were key responsibilities, and Systems Engineering Specialist at SSL, contributing to Ka-band spot beam satellite testing. Jason's early career included tutoring roles at the UCSC School of Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering was earned from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
