Eric Nyquist

Eric Nyquist is an accomplished artist and illustrator with extensive experience in both collaborative and independent projects. Since May 2007, Eric has worked at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, creating artistic works that bridge science and art to enhance engagement and inspiration. In addition to this role, Eric has operated as a freelance artist and illustrator since May 2006, serving a diverse range of clients including notable organizations such as Walt Disney, The New Yorker, and Harvard University. Eric has also held roles as an illustrator and project manager at Doug Aitken Workshop and has contributed to academia as an adjunct assistant professor at Art Center College of Design and an adjunct professor at California State University, Northridge, specializing in illustration courses. Currently, Eric is instructing a course on book illustration through ELVTR, focusing on visual storytelling and portfolio development. Eric holds a BFA in Illustration from Art Center College of Design, completed in 2007.
