David DeYoung is currently a Director at ELYSIS™ and oversees R&D Breakthrough Technology at Alcoa, where they have worked since 2016. With a long-standing role as a Technical Consultant at Alcoa since 1981, David has extensive experience in the field. They hold a Ph.D. in Metallurgy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with B.S. degrees in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Michigan and Engineering Science from Calvin College.
