EM EN is an independent film and photography production company founded by filmmaker and photographer Myriam Nicodemus.

We create impact-driven documentaries and visual stories that challenge who gets seen, who gets heard, and who holds the camera. Our work centers on underrepresented voices, Immigrant, Black, Brown, Indigenous, Queer, and feminist perspectives, revealing the strength and care that have always existed beyond the dominant lens.

Rooted in social and environmental justice, EM EN values storytelling as a form of activism, dismantling privilege and reimagining belonging through truth and artistry. Every film, every photograph, and every collaboration becomes an act of witnessing and reframing, cultivating connection through the power of story.
