Dave Thompson

Dave Thompson has extensive experience in business development and strategic roles across various technology companies. Currently serving as the Director of Business Development at EM Microelectronic since January 2025, Dave previously held multiple leadership positions at Cardinal Peak from March 2017 to January 2025, including Vice President of Business Development & Sales and Vice President of Business Development & Programs. Earlier roles include Director of Strategic Alliances at Level 3 Communications and several positions at Cisco Systems, Inc., such as Sr. Engagement Manager for Corporate Strategy focusing on IoT and Emerging Markets. Dave began their career at Intel Corporation as a Technical Lead and has also worked as an Analyst/Fellow at Keiretsu Forum. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Master's in Finance/Marketing from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, and a Bachelor's in Economics/Mathematics from Claremont McKenna College.
