Stefan Barbu

Stefan Barbu has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Stefan began their career at Schlumberger (Axalto) as an RF engineer in 2001 and worked there until 2004. Stefan then joined Gemalto as an ID Product Marketing Manager, where they worked until 2007. Stefan then moved to NXP Semiconductors, where they held various roles, including Sales and Business Development Manager and Head of Identification sales and marketing in Latin America. Stefan'smost recent position was at EM Microelectronic, where they served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing starting in 2017.

Stefan Barbu has a degree in Telecom Engineering from ESIEE PARIS and the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. Stefan also holds a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée.
