Valentin Matei

Valentin Matei is an experienced Web Performance Engineer and Lead Architect at eMAG since March 2012, specializing in capacity planning, application performance monitoring, and full stack optimizations. Previously, Valentin held positions as Technical Team Lead and Senior Web Developer at eMAG, contributing to the Research and Development team and serving as a release manager. Proficient in a variety of technologies including PHP, MySQL, Couchbase, Varnish, RabbitMQ, and MongoDB, Valentin has a diverse background in web development starting from earlier roles at Senior Software, Infinit Solutions, and NETOPIA System. Valentin holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree from the Military Technical Academy "Ferdinand I".
