Laszlo Szep has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Laszlo started their career as a Freelance Developer at Universale Ltd., where they worked on creating web solutions for clients like NewBalance and Red Bull. Laszlo then joined Eötvös Loránd University as a Lecturer, teaching the applied part of Introduction to Programming.

After that, Laszlo worked at Nokia as a Developer, where they had overall responsibility for the SigComp module and extended the test automation system. Laszlo then moved on to NNG LLC as a Senior Developer, focusing on the architectural redesign and implementation of traffic handling modules for iGO software.

Later, Laszlo joined Cognex Corporation as a Senior Developer and Vision Sensors Team Lead, where they introduced new functionalities and led projects with remote offices. Laszlo was nominated for a President Award during this time.

Following their time at Cognex, Laszlo worked at Ustream, an IBM Company, as an Engineering Manager, leading the Infrastructure department and focusing on people and project management.

Currently, Laszlo is working at Emarsys, where they started as the Head of Infrastructure and then became the Head of System Engineering. In this role, they have been responsible for infrastructure maintenance, leading development teams, and initiating crucial long-term projects for the company's product platform.

Laszlo Szep earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Software Design from Eötvös Loránd University between 1999 and 2006.
