Michael Jonas

Global Vice President, Client Success at Emarsys

Michael Jonas has a strong background in the field of marketing and client success. Michael currently holds the position of Global Vice President, Client Success at Emarsys, where they are responsible for overseeing client success globally. Prior to this role, they served as the Regional Vice President and Regional Director of Client Success for Central & Southern Europe at Emarsys.

Before joining Emarsys, Michael worked at Oracle as the Director of Customer Success for EMEA & ECEMEA. In this role, they were responsible for managing the Enterprise Customer portfolio of various Oracle Marketing Cloud products.

Michael also has experience working at Maxymiser GmbH / Maxymiser Ltd., where they held the positions of Head of Service Delivery, EMEA and Head of Client Services for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. During their time at Maxymiser, the company was acquired by Oracle.

Earlier in their career, Michael worked at Webtrekk as the Manager of Client & Professional Services, DIVOLUTION, where they were responsible for customer activities and management of consulting and technical teams. Michael also worked at FELD M, a digital marketing strategy consultancy, where they served as the Managing Consultant Analytics and played a key role in the growth and expansion of the company.

Michael began their career at Grey Group, where they worked as a Thesis Graduate in the Strategic Planning unit, focusing on the loyalty program PAYBACK. Michael also gained experience in marketing and sales through student work at Reindesign GmbH and Galeria Kaufhof GmbH.

Throughout their career, Michael has gained expertise in customer success, marketing, and digital analytics, and has successfully managed and expanded client portfolios.

Michael Jonas completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Hons. in European Business Administration from the University of Hertfordshire from 2002 to 2006. Michael also pursued studies at CBS International Business School during the same period. Additionally, they obtained the Cambridge Business English Higher Education degree from the University of Cambridge in 2005. Throughout their career, Michael has earned several certifications, including Lead beyond and Managing within the Law from Oracle in 2017, and various certifications from institutions such as MECLABS Institute, Omniture, Offermatica, and Visual Sciences.
