Kevin Schmidt

Kevin Schmidt has held various roles in the public sector since 2009. In 2009, they were a Policy Analyst for the California State Senate where they worked on statewide policy issues. In 2011, they were the Policy Director for Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom, where they were the point-of-contact for executive offices, administration staff, constituents, and interest groups. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Partner at California Strategies LLC, a government relations and advocacy firm. During this time, they provided strategic advocacy, public affairs, and regulatory counsel to clients. In 2019, they became a Partner at Axiom Advisors and Co-Founder & Board Chair at Embarc.

Kevin Schmidt attended De La Salle High School before going on to study Business at Santa Clara University from 2004-2008. Kevin then went on to earn an MPA from the University of Southern California in 2012.
