Alan McCormick

Alan McCormick has a strong background in IT infrastructure and cloud technology. Alan is currently the Head of Cloud Infrastructure & Network at Embark Group since April 2021. Prior to that, they spent five years as the Head of IT Infrastructure at Alliance Trust Savings from August 2016 to April 2021. Alan also worked at Alliance Trust for over a decade, starting as a Technical Specialist in 2004 and eventually becoming an Infrastructure Architect in December 2015. Alan was also a Technical Specialist Team Leader from July 2013 to December 2015.

Alan McCormick attended St Andrews High School from 1989 to 1995. Following their high school education, they enrolled in Edinburgh Napier University from 1995 to 1999. While studying at Edinburgh Napier University, Alan pursued Electronic and Computer Engineering. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Enterprise Architecture from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, although the specific month and year of certification are unavailable.
