Embark In Knowledge (EIK) is the NPC behind the Inkcubeko Youth and Science Centres — delivering world-class STEM education, robotics and coding programmes, adolescent health services, and design-thinking training to young people in Thembalethu, George, and beyond.

Founded to carry forward the Hasso Plattner Trust's original investment in the Garden Route, EIK operates at the intersection of education, health, and innovation. Our learners have coded their first robots, met NASA astronaut Commander Susan Kilrain, and accessed adolescent health services through a national-brand clinic partnership — often for the first time in their community.

We are proud to be supported by the Hasso Plattner Foundation, and to sit within the same philanthropic vision as d-school Afrika at UCT — two ends of one educational pipeline, built by the same patron, working toward the same future.

What we deliver: — STEM, robotics & coding education for township youth — Adolescent health services via our on-site clinic — Design thinking and entrepreneurship training — Partnership infrastructure for schools, donors, and corporate CSI teams across the Western Cape and Garden Route

By supporting today's youth, we are educating tomorrow's leaders.

Donors & corporate partners: we welcome CSI partnerships aligned to B-BBEE and SDG reporting. Schools: book a visit. Media: our story is ready to tell.
