Ian Sinclair is an accomplished designer and programmer with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Ian has held key positions at various companies, including Triband as a Designer and Gameplay & Systems Programmer from May 2021 to August 2024, and at Embark Studios as a Technical Designer since December 2025. Previous roles include Game Designer and Level Designer at Ubisoft Toronto, Technical Designer at Weta Workshop Ltd, Level & VFX Artist at Rockstar Games Toronto ULC, and Gameplay Designer at Playdead. Ian also worked as a Gameplay Programmer at Flashbulb Games from 2024 to 2025. Ian holds a Bachelor of Mathematics with Honours in Applied Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, obtained between 2003 and 2008.
