Kim McLaughlin

Kim McLaughlin is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in narrative consulting and verbal identity. As a Narrative Consultant at Embark Studios since July 2022, Kim focuses on story development, voice-over dialogue, naming, and editing. Co-founder and Verbal Identity Consultant at Four Inches since May 2019, Kim bridges the gap between brand voice and UX writing to enhance brand identity and user experience. Previous experience includes serving as a Verbal Identity Consultant at Doors, contributing to innovative projects in the music and tech sectors, and holding senior editorial roles at Bloomberg LP and Reuters, where responsibilities included editing and writing. Kim began a career in journalism as a Reporter at Dagens Nyheter in 1999. Academically, Kim holds a Master’s degree from the Stockholm School of Economics.
