Skye M.

Skye M. has a diverse range of work experience in various roles related to people operations, HR management, and office support. They currently hold the position of Senior Director of People Operations at Embark Veterinary since 2022. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, Skye worked at BERA, starting as a Human Resource Manager and later progressing to the role of Director of People Operations and then Senior Director of People Operations.

Before their tenure at BERA, Skye held the position of Manager of People and Operations at Klaviyo in 2019, where they handled HR administrative processes, developed employee experiences, and oversaw diversity and inclusion initiatives. Skye also worked as the Manager of Culture and Operations at Spotify from 2017 to 2019, supporting operational processes, analyzing employee engagement, and achieving a significant increase in eNPS scores.

In 2016, Skye worked at Harmonix Music Systems as an Associate Producer, overseeing art asset development for various video games. They also collaborated with localization teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, Skye served as the Manager of Happiness at iZotope, Inc., where they focused on onboarding processes, office management, and employee events.

In 2012, Skye began their career as an Administrative Assistant in the Art Department at Harmonix Music Systems.

Skye M. completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting, with a secondary focus in Ceramics and Art History, at the University of South Alabama from 2004 to 2008. Skye then pursued further education and obtained their Masters of Education degree in Visual Arts and Community Arts from Lesley University between 2011 and 2013. In addition to their formal education, Skye M. also obtained a certification as a Notary Public from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in August 2017.
